Mike Duncan (The FourXDoctor) built me a cage (among a number of other things) last year, and I wanted to share the quality with everyone. Typically, I like to post articles of how something "functions" by putting it to the ultimate usage test... However, in this case, I have yet to do so and I hope I don't have to any time soon!
First, a bit about Mike. Out of all the shops I've been to in my Jeepin' career, Mike is by far (BY FAR) the most capable, knowledgeable, and genuine gearhead you'll find out there. He shoots straight from the hip, whether you want to hear it or not. He'll tell you how it is and won't cut corners. On top of all this, he really cares about the product that leaves his shop and will put forth the extra effort to make it "just right".
That being said, FourXDoctor built this cage to my specifications...quite flawlessly, using the stock rear portion of the YJ Sport Bar as a starting point. Enjoy the pictures, and be sure to give him a call if you're looking for a quality cage.
