Triple Winch:
The first was Triple Winch. The area that gave every body the most trouble was the entrance. It was down a rocky ledge and into a dirt bank. The trouble was trying to make the turn coming in to going through the obstacle that gave all competitors the most points at the get go.

Dozer Pile:

The next obstacle was Dozer Pile. This was a quick set of no points or major points for the competitor's. This obstacle would claim the end of the day for the John's TJ in group A. His connecting rod and tie rod did not stay real straight after hitting a few rocks.

TableTop:

Next up was Table top. The start and end gates were right next to each other. This is a huge rock that resembles a table, with a ledge that is about 4 foot tall. The object was to go up through the gates and come back down. Only problem was, not enough room to turn around at the top. All the competitors decided to take one point and back down the obstacle.

Battleship:

The next obstacle of the A side was Battleship. Not really sure how to describe it, so the picture is of the rock from the top looking down. This obstacle was not really favourable to the longer wheel base vehicles, due to a sharp curve near the top.

Lower Steam Shovel:
Darrell claimed the only rolll of the day.  During the off camber section Justin on the strap just wasn't enough to keep the CJ-7's rubber side down!  Time to bulk up Justin!!!  Darrell poped out of the 7, and in a few seconds they had the winch rope wrapped around the front hoop, the roll cage and over to a tree ready to winch themselves back up.  Unfortunately they pointed out, but that let some of the spectators come down and lend a hand in getting the Jeep back on all 4.
