This story begins in Columbus, Ohio where Kerry was born innocent to the ways of wheeling.  Because the skin on the back of his neck was too red to become a resident, his parents moved the family to Louisville Kentucky after only a few weeks.  Growing up he was a good boy (read: boring story) until high school when it became a challenge for him to stay out of scuffs and to keep vehicles running from the sheer abuse.  No 4WDs yet, but he did manage to destroy a number of cars along the way and spend more time than is natural bugging mechanics to explain how they fixed them.  (Note the aforementioned birthmark.)

Wanting to remain local and not having any desire to listen to the rhetoric of philosophy PhD’s, Kerry enrolled in Speed Scientific School, engineering at University of Louisville.  Here there were two things of significant relevance that occurred.  He managed to take only 6 years to complete the 5-year masters program (mechanical engineering) without dying from the excessive extracurricular festivities.  And, in 1994 he bought his first brand new vehicle ever – a bright red YJ with only one factory option package: back seat and side mirror.  It was off-road on the stock donuts the first weekend of ownership.  Somehow in the course of his “studies”, he tricked some young woman into marrying his crude arse after graduation.

Again staying relatively local near Lexington, KY, he now works for Lexmark designing printers - with sketches of jeep suspensions on his office whiteboard.  Wheeling and modifying his Jeep have become the twisted personifications of his natural desires to create and solve.  It is believed by some that Kerry is incapable of leaving well enough alone, and the little red YJ has been the victim of several “experiments” since it was first built.  As it now sits, there is very little left on the Jeep that has not been replaced with something from a different vehicle or modified in some way – all homegrown.  It is, however, still MostlyYJ.
