I have had these a while. One day my neighbor comes over to show me what he found doing brakes on his sisters Ford truck.
I thought I had seen worn rotors, but nothing this bad.

think maybe the calipers were frozen? Look how much material's left on the front side, hardly looks touched.

Typical problem with the old style Ford design calipers, this is one area in which I can say that GM had a better design. Caliper was definately frozen.

Dear group;
Now that is what I call getting maximum usage out of a set of brake pads!

At first look, I thought that was a ring gear with all the teeth stripped.

She couldn't tell she was having problem with her brakes?

I asked if it was making lotsa noise/vibration (like I would have suspected). He said you couldn't tell except for some squealing.
Freakin crazy!

Dude go with slotted Rotors to get rid of the heat. Mine were replaced about 2 months ago and with 37's they definitely help.

Slotted rotors don't get rid of heat. They help remove the off-gasses from the pads to prevent brake fade on race cars.
