Fellow Jeepaholics,
I want to take this opportunity to offer a huge heartfelt thank you to all you have done to support us while we are here in Iraq. The care packages were wonderful and it really helped brighten our days and remind us of our favorite treats from home. I want to also say a very special thank you to Machelle (Spotter) for all she did to organize this. This effort took a lot of leg work, coordination, and her personal time- you are the best. Al, thanks to you too for all your support, you have got some new JA fans and supporters amongst my ranks! To everyone else I recieved packages from thank you so much...I owe you all a debt of gratitude.
It's been several weeks now since we distributed out all the goodies but I wanted to wait to post all the pics until we took our company photo. We made a special banner to honor JA which you can see in the pictures below. We're starting to wrap up our deployment and our Marines will start to depart over the next month. It has been a wild ride for sure. From the Fallujah takedown to the elections and everything else in between I've got a lot of interesting stories to tell. Will make for great conversation over some long awaited beers I suppose. I hope to be able to meet many of you in the not to distant future and do some wheeling of course!
