Attached are some samples of a skin I've been laboring over (I'm NOT a graphic designer).
Many pieces and parts are NOT complete (i.e. you may still see some blue here and there) so don't bitch!
Use your imagination and tell me if I should continue with this color scheme...or scrap it for something else. If something else.

I take it this software doesnt really support themes?
I think the red looks nicer, but for me, the background is what makes it hard to read. Yes, i know, its a standard white background, but go look at my sites.. See what my tastes seem to lean toward. 
I miss the old background, or at least the softer color. White is harsh to me.
If you made the background tan, and the borders/headings/whatnot red-ish, you'd have, imho, a nice color scheme.
Keep up the good work man. I can only imagine how much of a labor this migration must be.

What would make you say that? The forum supports themes at a deeper level than you can imagine. It's overwhelming how customized you can make things. I'm just trying to get the biggest complaint taken care of with as quick a fix as possible right now...colors only.
Thanks for the feedback on the background, will take that into consideration.

I like the red theme better than this blue crap 
  
97 mean green tj, 4.0, auto, AA SYE, rubicon 3.5 superflex, dana 44 front and rear, air lockers, 4.10 gears, jks quick discos, 35 nitto grappler, more 1 in mml/bl, swing away tire carrier, Warn x8000i winch and plate, tube fenders by zesty fab, jks tie rod and sway disco's, custom roll cage by Chicago Bears fan, I know.

I can deal with the white, but a do agree the old "tan" backround would be better. The red needs to be more maroon or darker too. Just like our old site colors. The red theme is better than blue for sure.
 Sorry, I can't help but use this new EmotIcon. I just LOVE IT!! >>>>> NOT!!
