can anybody tell me if a harness for a 94 and 89 4.2 are the same? need to find out so i can get this thing goin. found a 94 drivetrain cheap but not sure if its gonna work in my 89. if not goin back to original plan of sbc. thanx

There is no such thing as a 1994 4.2L, last year for the 4.2 was 1990. 1994 would be a 4.0L, very similar, but two totally different engine management systems, one is carb'd, the other is fuel injected.
